St. Augustine

A few days after Christmas we visited St. Augustine with Lamar, Elizabeth & their boys. We rented a condo that was located RIGHT on the beach....to bad it was literally FREEZING that week! Despite the weather, we managed to have a GREAT time.

One evening we walked the downtown to see the "millions" of Christmas lights.

The boys were SUPER cold & grouchy....Isaiah was the only one who would cooperate for this picture. The next morning they were back to their normal happy selves!

We spent one afternoon at this HUGE wooden playground, it was definitely a hit for the boys (all 7 of them).We didn't want our bikes to get stolen while we were shopping...this was our solution. :) Eddie was SOOOO cute on this train.....he was WAY to big!

The bike ride through St. Augustine was definitely a highlight of the trip......not sure if it was a good highlight, but a highlight none the less!

We stopped to rest by the old fort...

We managed to go out to the beach once during our visit......it didn't last very long though.

Rich & I took the older boys to 'Winter Wonderland'....and it was just that! They had snowfalls (well, soap), ice skating, horse drawn carriage rides, elf houses, train rides, ice slide & a candy cane forest!

The last day we stayed a bit longer than my sister and her family and visited downtown again...

The boys were SUPER excited to see the StarWars characters at the wax museum!

We visited the inside of the fort this time...

We got to watch and HEAR a cannon demonstration!

Me being very lady like.....LOL!

We saw this 'One Man Band' guy who was AWESOME, Eddie gave him some money...but I think he was a bit scared!

We finished our visit with lunch at Scarlet O'Hara's.......isn't my Clark Gable handsome! ;)
